Very friendly and welcoming hosts, they gave us suggestions on what to do in the area and made us feel right at home. The hostel has a private parking, efficient WiFi and colorful and spacious common areas with beautiful views of the area. Our room had a private bathroom and shower, everything clean. We had dinner at the hostel and Rachid cooked us one of the best dinners we had in Morocco so far (meatballs tajine si real delish)! If you’re looking for a quiet and friendly environment for your stay near the Gorge this is the place!

This place is fantastic. I would recommend you to stay if you are reading this review. The location is great. You will be sent a video as to how to find the place. All the locals seem to know the place if you ask. It is in the old Jewish section and right near the Souq. We stayed in the double room, and the bed was very comfortable and cosy. We slept so well. The decor of the place is amazing and different from anything else we have stayed in. I just kept finding bits to see. It was very clean and made you feel good being there. Jamil is a wonderful host looking after all our needs. Breakfast was very nice on the sun-drenched terrace with great views. He showed us around his local area and the next day gave us suggestions as to what to see and then went with us. He took us to his local Hamman, which was a really good experience as it was genuine, not something just set up for the tourist. Jamil was a pleasure to be with. I wished we had more time to spend here. I

It was an amazing stay, maybe the highlight of my trip in Morocco. The hostel was very close to the gorge, just a short beautiful walk, and just everything was a pleasure there. From 2nights I ended up staying 4 and the room, the facilities, the views were a dream. The staff is extremely kind and welcoming and helpful and created a warm atmosphere. I loved the breakfast and mohammed made sure he gave me more food even if the breakfast was already big enough and delicious. The owner is the kindest person as well. Just doMany thanks for your hospitality and kindness.

The coolest thing is the location, a small quiet village next to a stunningly beautiful gorge. The host is very hospitable and warm, gave us tea, showed us the accommodation, was very friendly, gave us the contacts of the hotel in Merzuga, where we were going (thank you very much, we really liked it). As he said when we arrived, this hotel is his heart and it's true, everything is done with love, taste and care. We will definitely come back again! Breakfast was very tasty, homemade butter - sooooooo delicious! plush deer on the wall - delight

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

What stands out the most apart from the incredible work of art that it is the hostel and all its feature is the kindness and gentle heart of the owner. Moreover he was always available and ready to advise us on the best things to visit in Tinghir. The breakfast was amazing and we felt very welcomed.

The staff was super friendly! I got a free upgrade since the place was nearly unbooked. They even called me because they were worried I was outdoor the whole day. Breakfast was good. Rooftop is big. The views from the rooftops of all the other places around must be great as well. It's not the most luxurious place but for this price in the great location just in front of the gorges. It's perfect.

The owner is amazing, very welcoming, speaks excellent English, very spontaneous (I checked in late without previous reservation), good breakfast, very good value for money; facilities are very basic as is to be expected in this price range, but very clean, I had the dormitory to myself, the garden has a stunning view of the rocks and the river, it's calm and quiet.

Lovely friendly hostel, really nicely done in great location. Friendly and informative staff. Had a really nice feel about it, the breakfast was good and the music 8n the even8ng was nice and not too noisy. Great terraces and garden. Quadruple room suited us and our boys, not massive but plenty big enough and comfy and cozy.

Hike and chill is probably the best hostel we stayed in Morocco. Situated in Old Medina it has a lot of charm and beauty. The tarrace has an amazing view of the area and the surrounding mountains. Super clean. The host Jamal is genuinely helpful and open to help and support in any way needed. The cat is great and he dds to the charm of the tarrace :) Also the brekfast is delicious

This is actually the best Hostel I found in Morocco. Djamal is really careful about every single detail and gentle at anytime to make happy the costumer. His breakfast was just wow. There is also an awesome rooftop to chill and enjoy the view to feeling at home from the first moment. 100% satisfied and hopefully to be back soon in this huge place.
