it’s safe in this town. Super nice, helpful staff. Soft blanket :) place outside to sit. enjoyed local breakfast. Ok walking distance to the beach, via neighborhood. Store nearby. staff me at the entrance to welcome. Quick response via texting. was easy to find on Google map. BEST BEACH ever! Good for families with kids. waves r minimal, flat surface this morning. A bit warm ocean is very relaxing. could stay for hours in the water: no struggle with waves or the cold. season hasn’t started n it’s perfect to enjoy reading, relaxing at quiet beach area

I had an amazing stay at Laughing Leopard in Trinco. I stayed a week- extending my stay twice! The staff is absolutely amazing and it’s clear that they genuinely care about the guests and the property. They go above and beyond to make sure everyone is cared for and happy, whether it’s arranging activities, tuk tuks, meals, etc. Okay wifi, good for Sri Lanka. Air con in the room from 8pm - 8am. Family dinner every night for 1000 lkr. Free breakfast which is amazing traditional Sri Lankan breakfast. 3 minute walk from the beach where there are bars/restaurants/cafes and many dive shops. Between the hammocks/central couch area and the organized activities happening every day, you’re guaranteed to have a fun, relaxing stay.

Everything was good. Lali is very friendly, helpful, he gave me some services. The room was clean. The garden is nice. It's a quiet place. We can use the kitchen if needed. The hostel is very close to the beach, restaurants and shops. I recommend this accomodation. I will come back.
