The Toya Guesthouse is a good place for couple or family stay with friendly staffs and convinient of food and drink provided by the guesthouse cafe. It is easy access to the Toya Lake and bus terminal.

Lovely staff, very cozy atmosphere in the common room. Shower room was the largest I've seen on any trip to Japan, which is excellent for taller people. Beds were comfortable and had good privacy. Excellent value for location.

I only have one word to say: Everything was perfect. I have yet to encounter any guesthouse that was more cleaner and well organized than here. The location is also right next to the JR station, allowing easy access for any side trips and the town itself is very quiet. The place is very modern yet very traditional japanese with tatami mats and futons. Everything is offered from kitchen utensils, TVs, to towels, etc. In fact, it's harder to find a thing that isn't offered here. A must recommend, will not disappoint.

Cozy little hotel, nothing fancy but we had everything we needed. A great place for a budget ski trip to hokkaido compered to the crazy prices in the resort towns. Toya lake is a sweet location if you are willing to drive a bit to get to the ski hills. The host is an absolute legend and thats what makes the real experience in my opinion. They even took care of one of our mates when he got a bit sick and skipped a ski day with the rest of us. The onsen they provided us with discount cards was also really good and we liked it the most of all the other onsens we visited
