Offering free WiFi throughout and a non-smoking environment, Guesthouse Namaste provides Japanese-style rooms, just a 7-minute walk from JR Kanazawa Train Station. A free-use kitchen and storage lockers as well as rental bicycles are available.

Location! It was really easy to find online. The owner Arigato San was a very open and friendly character, easy to talk to and extremely helpful too. Place was comfortable and with the share kitchen for quick snack and drink etc. Highly recommended for couples and families looking for homelike holiday accommodation.

Great location: 5 minutes from Kanazawa station! The hostel is on 3rd floor and there is no elevator, so it can be hard to carry a big suitcase. The common area is divided into common and female area. The common has bar hockers and female area is with normal chairs. Free coffee and tea. Beds are big, with a lot of space above, a wooden crate locker, space under bed for suitcases and a shelf above the bed for else. Towels are changed daily.

You get what you pay for. Cheap hostel. Location is good and bad depending on what you’re planning. If to stay near the train station: great, if you want to see the touristic places, it’s too far to walk all the time, too close to take the bus

Very centrally located, close to everything you need to see in Kanazawa and not too far from the train station by walking. The owner of the hostel is an awesome guy who speaks English very well! Will help you with anything you need even if it’s insights on life about his crazy stories of meeting people ( Ask him about the bus crash)

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in in my life. I found the bed super comfortable and I managed to get a great night's sleep. I don't know why, but my bed had a high ceiling and it made the bed look bigger

Great location right by kenrokuen, with amazing breakfasts (as provided with stay) that gave us a break in worrying about where to eat for breakfast for a certain budget. Facilities were great with a bathroom on our floor, plus the wash room at the bottom with a couple private showers, and spa onsen. Super comfy and clean, would definitely choose here if we come back to Kanazawa <3

Unbeatable value for money. Room with super comfortable bed, clean and with all services. Very nice staff. Furthermore the location is great: you can walk to many of the main points of interest in the city and it's less than 15 minutes walk from the train station. The area is full of delicious and cheap restaurants. We'd recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit the city and is looking for a comfortable place, good quality but without blowing up their budget.
