What I liked the most was that the Japanese owners, the husband and wife, were very good at English. I really appreciated the organization of the garbage sorting system here. It was very organized.
I had free access to the kitchen equipment and the common area had a great atmosphere, everyone was sitting together eating, some were checking emails, some were reading books, some were chatting, it was a very intimate atmosphere, and the owner of the hotel also used this area to eat with his own family, I felt like I was at home.
I drove to a parking lot that was quite adequate and free.

Guest House Keimichi was an extremely welcoming and pleasant place to stay, one of my favorite places I stayed at on the trip. The staff were super helpful and friendly. I am very grateful for letting me leave my baggage for an extra night as well as for helping me with the buses. It had nice common spaces where you can meet other travelers—I met some really nice people there :) The facilities are very good. I especially enjoyed the possibility to use the bikes, which defined my time in Hakuba. Highly reccommended!

Accommodation was clean and comfortable. Rooms were a good size and had a view of the japanese alps.
Had a ski storage room and drying room which was handy. Only accommodation we stayed in Japan with a drying room.
Nice onsen which was good after days skiing.

I loved the experience here. Each and every one of the staff made my time in this lodge an absolute pleasure. Seriously, these guys get it. Clean, fun, convenient, close to Lawsons (thats important for those late night urgers hahaha). I'm stoked I decided to book here and would do so again in a heartbeat. Keep it up guys!

Morino lodge was fantastic, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, the staff were very welcoming and accomodating, the daily breakfast was great and had good variety. The staff also gave us recommendations on the best places to ski and restaurants which we really appreciated as it was our first time in Hakuba. Overall the lodge was great value for money, definitely would stay again. Thank you Morino Lodge.

I honestly booked this place because it was cheap and it turned out to be probably my all time favourite hostel. Such comfy and chill vibes and surprisingly well catered for a little place. The location is perfect too. Right near the main lifts for Tsugaike resort which is imo the best hill in Hakuba Valley. Definitely will be staying here again next time I'm in Hakuba.
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
1. 很舒服的空間,廚房有各式各樣的必須品,環境清幽
2. Great location, perfect place for family and friends
3. Convenient, cozy stay and well equipped, will recommend to all my friends
4. 離八方尾根雪場很近,周圍都是餐廳,很方便,屋子的空間很寬敞舒適
5. Clean and comfortable place, free parking, we enjoyed staying here.
Toshi and Megumi couldn't do enough for us - we felt very spoilt! Their advice and support was invaluable (eg all their restaurant and onsen recommendations were spot on) and they made our holiday memorable. Their lovely hostel has a well equipped tidy kitchen, dining room and a cosy lounge. Make use of their great value resort shuttle service - heaps quicker and cheaper than the Hakuba Valley shuttle.
I highly recommend this place if you're going to ski on a pretty low budget !!!!!!
The Pilot Lodge is a comfy place, located at 10 meters from a bus stop that can bring you for free to several ski slopes in 10min, the staff is really accommodating, there is two bathes that you can use on your own and the hostel provides reductions for the ski passes and for a gear rental shop that can pick you up and bring you with your gear !
Thank you so much for everything :)
Gaspard the owner/operator is fantastic! Great guy and very knowledgable about Hakuba. His backpackers lodge is great fun. Would definitely recommend this to people travelling to Hakuba. Great opportunities to socialise and meet new people! Liam and Bianca the staff were also very helpful and great fun.

Great location close to the shuttle bus that took you to the ski fields
We couldn't have asked for better hosts - so helpful with information and transportation. They were so welcoming and warm - I felt like they welcomed us into their home.
The hostel was immaculately clean. It has a great kitchen and shared lounge dining space.
A perfect location for a family ski trip.
