We booked a Family Room as a couple. The room is amazing - very clean, very modern, own bathroom. Free parking next to it, close to Petra by foot. The host is unmatched by his kindness! He loves to get in touch with his customers and exchange about cultural differences alongside very good tea - he also likes to invite people to his family’s wedding, sadly there wasn’t one around the time we stayed :( For extra payment he prepares breakfast, lunch or dinner - we had an amazing breakfast at 6 a.m. (time can be discussed with him), a perfect start for our long journey through Petra! The property was very clean. Also close proximity to Petra. The walking distance is around 15 mins. Located in the heart of the city. Good restaurants and local market around. Since I was a solo traveller, I was quite worried about being scammed. However, the host helped me around with local shopping, ensured I did not get scammed with tourist tax. He was kind! Also, he’s a great cook. Very reliable in that sense. I didn’t feel worried at all. 10/10 recommend staying at Z Hostel. Ps. He also manages Wadi Rum tours. Pps. The host is also a great calligrapher (:

Everything was perfect. The owner and his family are extremely nice and supportive.The room is very comfortable. The breakfast in my last day was exceptional. A-taybeh is a very nice village where the prices are much lower than wadi Musa. The people there are also warm and welcoming.
