The family running the property is very kind and they clean the house daily. They would let me use the kitchen to store some food and boil some water. The bathrooms are clean, the room is spacious and the beds are comfortable.
The location is a bit far away from the lake walking (20 minutes) but the Chalo Bus stop is 5 minutes away. Area is calm and it felt safe during the day. There is a fruit shop near by.
Breakfast was good but i would suggest picking it directly there.

Amazing place. Really loved our stay here. Staff always went above and beyond to make sure we have amazing stay here. From the location to the view from the room, to the amazing staff everything was good. The food at the hostel is very delicious and cheap.
Had the most amazing stay at New Urban Den Cottage. Located at a quiter location in Harwan yet easily accessible by Smart City bus & shared taxi, this cottage is perfect for budget backpackers traveling to Kashmir❤️
Glad we found this place. As solo female travellers we felt safe and welcomed at home. Hanan, the owner is a good guy and helped us get best prices for other services. Basic yet clean rooms, a superb lake view and hot water even with a tub. A good place to stay in Kashmir and close to downtown. The boats taking you from shore to the hotel take 5 mins which are an extra relaxing time. Good family run place to stay on a budget and live the floating house experience
This hotel (I figure: probably the chain) fills the gap between on the one hand questionable <3000₹ (30€) accommodations and on the other hand extremely pricey western >20000₹ (200€) chain hotels.

they serve really heavy breakfast we didn't felt hungry for lunch we had tea in afternoon ,wifi was working in entire houseboat my wife was working from it good communication skill of staff, heater facility is also good with all the the safety measures , hot running water in the washrooms The Owner Mr Showkat arranged the entire trip for us with a good budget I would highly recommend his gestures towards guest ..
