This comfortable, modern hostel is set in the centre of Galway, just 100 metres from Eyre Square. Sleepzone Galway City offers a free Wi-Fi zone and a large outdoor terrace.

The hostel has a newly remodeled and fitted self-catering kitchen and all rooms are en suite. There is a calm and relaxing vibe in all communal areas and a large dining area for enjoying all meals. Laundry facilities are available, as are safety deposit boxes.

I loved everyone there! When I first got there, I was stressed and frazzled and they were really patient and kind with me. They told me about some places to stay and even let me hang out/store my stuff on the day I wad leaving even though it was later. I found the beds comfortable and the internet worked. The breakfast is worth it on its own right but I wish they had a non-dairy milk for the cereal as I'm lactose intolerant. I did have the gluten free bread, which was yummy and we know how tough it can be. I miss gluten and dairy. The location is great as well. It's right in the middle of big shops and the downtown area. I loved Galway and would definitely stay here again. Thank you for having me ❤️

Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Great location, easy parking. Galway is so expensive that I took a risk and booked a quadruple private room four our family. Overall it worked out. The first night was miserable as the pillows were terrible and one of the bunk beds squeaked with the slightest move. However they tightened it up and gave us new pillows. I found out I’m too old to rough it but as a hostel it was nice, clean, and friendly.
