Situated in Harlow and with Stansted Mountfitchet Station reachable within 21 km, HARLOW INTERNATIONAL HOSTEL features a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a shared lounge. This 3-star hostel offers a shared kitchen. Guests can have a drink at the snack bar.

The Hostel structure and organization have beaten my imagination because this was a test to see if I could book again for a longer stay in the future. Yes, I would always book it again. From the outside serenity of the environment and its quiet location, it is a perfect destination both for short and long stays. It is in the heart of the town with just a 7 min walk to the train station. The inside is quite neat and houses a small store for groceries. The kitchen is well organized with a fridge to store safe food. The staff were quite happy and supportive at all times with a good sense of humor. The heating system is perfect and my room was warm and tidy with clean white bedding and duvet. I had initially booked for the bunk bed in shared rooms, fortunately, my room was upgraded to a small, single-perfect size room which served my purpose. This also beats my imagination at their kind gesture. If you are still in doubt about whether or not to book this hostel, procrastinate no more, it is a perfect place and you will be fine with it and have good value for the amount paid.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

A good, tree-lined location within a quiet district of Old Harlow, but close to routes of access. About 15 minutes pleasant walking from Harlow Mill railway station. The shared kitchen facilities were like a hostel, adequately supplied but not lavish. Nothing beats a cup of tea when you need one.

Great location, very easy to catch a bus from the London Stansted Airport to a bus stop that's a only a 5 minute walk from the hostel. Hostel is surrounded by lovely green parks, and isn't far from anything you might need - a supermarket, places to buy your electronics, cafes/restaurants. Room was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and hospitable.

the staff were lovely. we had a really cute room with bunk beds. great for two friends needing cheap accommodation for a convention near by. room was very clean and fresh. we didn’t use the lounge or kitchen but they were large and well equipped. the weather was really hot and we enjoyed sitting on the benches in the large garden under a parasol. would not hesitate to stay again if was visiting the area again (probably next year!) thanks a lot!

I’m from Harlow, but after moving away needed an affordable place to stay while visiting family. It’s clear they are using this hotel as a hostel. The place is a budget hotel, the bed and decor reflects this. Checking in and out is easy. I wouldn’t advise people who are nervous or those travelling with children stay here, the big groups of long term residents chain smoking by the front door is a little much.
