It was right near Edinburgh castle and the Royal mile so I could walk everywhere. It was kept really clean, every time I went to the bathroom throughout the day the share bathrooms had been cleaned recently. And it is really big and well well maintained and good storage lockers in the share dorms. I really liked it.

I loved how comfortable and cosy it was. And the small breakfast for 3£ was a good thing too. And absolutely good: free tea and coffee!!
Also the hostel is located perfectly.

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Great location in the town centre yet very quite , excellent customer service from all very friendly staff, very comfy beds clean spacious room, good breakfast really enjoyed my stay.
Only 2 pods in a big woodland area. Gated area so felt safe. (Was me and my daughter) Really clean and comfortable. Lovely setting to unwind in nature.
Great location, very fresh decor. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast. Easy parking, we got one of the reserved spaces but plenty of cheap paid parking adjacent.
Staff were amazing food was great and even a month later I'm still thinking of that mattress in the bedroom. The Adamson Hotel was absolutely fantastic from top to bottom cleanliness was amazing staff were beyond helpful and the food at the restaurant bit was brilliant. Coming down from Inverness I'm not grudging the bar prices either since the pints were near 2 pound cheaper than at home 🤣. Will absolutely be staying here again.
Great Location , large modern bedroom with a great shower room, good parking close to the hotel at very cheap rates.
Wetherspoons pub adjacent to the hotel .
