The Dolphin Inn Hostel features free bikes, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Dunbar. The property is around 2.6 km from Belhaven Bay Beach, 31 km from Muirfield and 46 km from The Maltings Theatre & Cinema. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen and free WiFi.

I loved the location, but above all, pet friendly which was very important to us. The host was friendly and chatty. The self-catering kitchen was well equipped and there was even a complimentary breakfast that we didn't expect which was a good add-on.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

I have stayed in many hostels and this one is by far the best I have experienced. They even provide a cereal and toast breakfast. The staff were all really friendly and I loved the quirky decor. Fabulous

I had a quiet room on the back. And the lady helped store my bike safely inside.

Great location, close to the station and beach/town centre. Everything was exceptionally clean, the bed was comfortable and the communal area was really nicely designed. The record player in the bedroom was a really nice touch. Tom was super friendly and stored my bags safely. Would definitely stay here again/recommend.

This newly renovated gem of a place is a very special hostel. The rooms are large and clean and the bathroom across the hall was spotless. But the most special thing about it is the atmosphere. The owner and staff are really interested in their guests and will help in any way they can. For example, our large tandem didn't cause a problem, it was safely housed in no time. They have a good breakfast available. No cooked food, but everything else "breakfasty". We loved this place.
