At the hostel, all rooms include a wardrobe and a flat-screen TV. Featuring a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries, rooms at Pensión Castro Parrillada also provide guests with free WiFi, while some rooms here will provide you with a city view. At the accommodation every room comes with bed linen and towels.

The owners were incredibly nice and we were treated like locals at the bar at night. I highly recommend you get the Costillas (pork ribs) as your segundo, they were part of the menu of the day and the best thing we’d had along the Camino.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.

Beautiful rustic inn along the Camino that felt more like a family reunion than a hostel. I booked a private room and it was like something out of a medieval movie set. The dorms looked terrific with high valted ceilings. They had nice areas to gather and chat. The highlight for me was their dog and her little puppy. Everything you need is right nearby.

A budget albergue at the end of Triacastela, right in front of the main Camino route, opposite the Cross (one of the points of interest in Triacastela). No luxuries but nothing missing (also, a free towel and blanket!). The host was exceptionally helpful, we just gave her our clothes and a couple of hours later she returned them clean and folded in a basket. Thank you very much for that!

This was one of my favorite hostels on the entire Camino. So many beautiful places to meditate, read, relax in the beautiful forest surrounding the property. Delicious vegan meal filled with veggies, lentils, rice, hummus, and homemade cake for dessert. Adorable dogs. Nice handmade wooden bunks with blankets, natural organic soap provided in showers. Beautiful family who created this place from their hearts.
