Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

The hostel is very well located on the trail to quilotoa and it is a great place to stay after a day of hiking! The owners are very nice and helpful (they told me exactly where the path was for the following day). The dinner and breakfast were both delicious and the whole place is very cozy :) I highly recommend!

Wonderful hostel, with great location, and a very friendly host. The path to Quilotoa starts from their backyard, they also tell you details about the trails. Highly recommended.

Wow! The quality of this hostel is outstanding and it's cheap! The rooms are huge with very comfortable beds, many blankets and a modern and clean bathroom. The hot water was brilliant after a long day hiking the Quilotoa Loop. The dinner and breakfast included were delicious - we had the vegetarian option. They also sell drinks, snacks and packed lunches for your hike. Best hotel in Chugchilán!

One of the best Hostels on my Ecuador trip! The owners are very friendly and the food was amazing. The rooms were comfy with mountain hut vibes! Would definitely recommend to stay here, if you have time even multiple days just to relax or explore the area.

This place is exceptionel, best hostel I've stayed at in Ecuador, best hotel given the price, and such kind and helpful staff. In fact, we ended up staying an extra night and doing a day tour, instead of continuing on the Quilotoa Loop, simply because we liked it here so much. Shower, food, atmosphere, everything is perfect. The WiFi is good for where you are, so don't expect any teleconferencing.
