I had a single room while my friends shared a 4-bedder. I was pleasantly surprised with the service and the facilities of this hostel. Everything was all organized like the kitchen, check in and out process, breakfast, etc. It was clean and comfortable. Very good value for money! If you’re able to get a single/double room (not easy as it’s booked out quickly), it’s much worth staying here than many overpriced properties in Interlaken. (p.s. I like the little illustrated reflection book with verses in the room)

Away from the crowded tourist area of Grindelwald,this Hostel is a solid walk/ride up among the trees.
The free bus will take you down,if you’d prefer.
The rooms have a lovely view of the mountains and countryside,and are lean & comfortable.
There’s secure bike storage underneath.
The hosts allowed me to check-in a little early,and dinner was delicious.

Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Great location, staff so helpful and lovely. Collection and drop off at the train station was a great help, and the complimentary glass of fizz or wine on arrival was a lovely touch. Rooms clean, bed comfortable and breakfast was great. English channels on the tv was a big plus. No complaints, excellent value for money.
Authentic old establishment, do not expect any luxury. A charming rustic experience; you get what you paid for. Great location with stunning view from the room.
Although we booked a budget room we had a balcony with two chairs and table, with fabulous views of the mountains. Really enjoyed sitting out there, watching the light change on the hills whilst drinking the free mini bar contents! Lovely swimming pool which was really quiet and great location in the centre of the village. Would really recommend this hotel.
Great location near the main st of Wengen, right by the train station, especially handy if you have lots of luggage. The trains were very quiet and didn’t pose a problem. We took 1/2 board which was great value. Plenty of good food on offer. I would highly recommend if you’re on a tighter budget. Hotel a little dated but its location and facilities made up for it. The Spa was free for hotel guests and was a great addition. They provided luggage storage, again a great help .I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
Traditional, swiss chalet style property with beautiful furnishings and common areas. Clean and comfortable corner room, with a balcony and an amazing view. Great location, only 5mins walk to the train station. Porter provided to just near the train station if you cannot make the walk or have large bags. Dinner provided to guests for good rate (cheaper than what you will get elsewhere). Staff at reception very friendly and fairly good buffet breakfast (don't be in a rush or last into brekky hall)
