One of my favourite places I've stayed. It was low season so I had the dorm room to myself, and would have been a bit different if the hostel was busy- the common areas aren't huge and I had them all to myself, which was great. It's like a hostel in a treehouse, with amazing views of the surrounding valley and beach. 5 mins walk to morere beach which is a paradise-esque quiet beach. The next beach along is completely deserted and v nice.
The hosts are such nice people and really make the difference. I felt very at home and that anything I needed would be (and was) catered to. For example, my onward travel was a little complex and Bella spent time making sure I knew exactly where to go and what transport to take. Much appreciated!

The room was quite clean and large, with a large warm shower, comfy bed, and a very powerful fan (though the temperature was mild in July). Sandra was very attentive and made sure everything was going well and that I had everything necessary.
Just steps from Morro de São Paulo village centre, Papagaio Hostel is 200 metres from Porto de Cima Beach and a 10-minute walk from the First Beach. It features a pool and free Wi-Fi.

Beautiful spot in the middle of nature. Breakfast is amazing
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
This is a super nice hostel in Boipeba Island. I had the entire dorm for myself during 10 days and it was great. They have a cute garden with a kitchen. Great price also!!!!
Amazing hostel in Boipeba. Beautiful and peaceful location with great communal areas. The kitchen and rooms are well equipped. Staff is very friendly and helpful with tips of what to do in the island. They also offer laundry services for a very reasonable price.
Amazing hostel, the open space with hamacs, yoga matresses facing the green jungle around, good kitchen, well equipped, comfortble bed, good shower, very nice staff, good location near the main square and the pier but very quiet.
I really loved this hostel! Its location was a standout feature for me - centrally located yet nestled in a stunning forest setting. The surroundings were incredibly calming, offering a lot of spaces to either work or simply unwind. The cleanliness of the facilities was impeccable, the beds were exceptionally comfortable, and I felt completely immersed in nature there.
This may be the best hostel I’ve stayed in in Brazil. I loved it!!! So nice people, sweet staff, really good breakfast, beautiful surroundings, nice atmosphere, clean and good beds. And the terrace overlooking the palm trees… amazing.
