Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

One of the cheapest places to stay in Richmond and we were pleasantly surprised at how nice the room was for the price. David called in advance to let us know our room was ready early and cheerfully greeted us on arrival. It was very clean, warm, quiet and comfortable with a lovely private outside courtyard. Very close and within easy walking distance to everything Richmond has to offer.

Good location. There are two accommodation options - the separate cottage the good reviews refer to and the in hotel budget option. This relates to the in hotel option that is cheaper but is a true above hotel room only accommodation with shared toilets and showers. Clean in room but not in common areas, external stairway was dirty and difficult for less able to manage luggage or in the rain.

The property was absolutely magical. The grounds are spectacular and the chalet i stayed in was unique, tranquil, and an absolute delight. I felt very safe and comfortable at this property. everything it thought of with the guest in mind. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone. Great location, easy to walk around Richmond. overall, such a lovely experience. The pancakes for breakfast were a big highlight, they were so delicious.
