The whole atmosphere in the hostel was amazing! Everybody is so nice, staff is very welcoming and as a solo traveler they made me feel very safe and taken care of. Even free meals!
Great cleanliness and good facilities, cheap bar, good pool and fun events every night so it’s easy to get to know people!
The reality is that this hostel provides the cheapest possible stay in the best possible location. The 14-bed dorms are grim, but considering that most travellers only use beds to sleep it is passable. I would only recommend if you're on a serious budget and are willing to experience a bit of discomfort.
Had an amazing stay at Budds, the best hostel to stay in to meet new people and have a good time. The staff are all so friendly and the facilites always clean. Every night there are activities to meet new people and to make the most of the Gold Coast. Great social areas a large pool which other hostels in Gold Coast don’t have. A bar and social area which are great to meet new people. Made some friends for life here and will definitely be back again in the future!

Have travelled most of Australia and through Asia as this is the best hostel I have stayed at. The staff were extremely friendly and the amenities are amazing. Pizza oven in the new kitchen was impressive. Menu is cheap too. Look forward to staying again.
