Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Great location to explore St Gilgen and neighbouring towns. The apartment was well furnished and plenty of natural light with a small but functional deck that was great have breakfast on. There were plenty of parking options outside on the road.
The room was furnished quite nicely and very clean. Great location, free parking and good breakfast. The stuffs were friendly and helpful. Will visit again if travelling in this area.
The rooms was spacious, immaculately cean and a good size. The room has a small fridge and safe as well as tea making facililities.
Breakfast was lovely and the the Laimer family could not be more friendly and inviting.
Haus Mayerhofer is situated right in the centre of St. Gilgen yet there is no noise or dispruption.
We would not hesitate to stay again.
cleanliness, the view in balcony, bathroom, breakfast. it’s quiet and safe, environment is marvellous. Next time would like to spend at least two days here.
Everything was perfect, great location, 5 minute walk to center of Sankt Gilgen. Great view from the balcony at the lake. Appartment was clean, well equipped. Host provided fresh food, some candy and coffee for free. We had great time.
We spent 4 nights in Haus Mayerhofer. The house has great location, cable car within few hundred meters, also Spar, Billa and few steps from center and the lake. Salzburg is in 30 min. The apartment was well equipped and refurbished.
