The room was next to a quiet and welcoming patio in the backyard of a private residence in Oceanside, CA. It was lovely! The host was gracious and very kind and even offered a laundry service for $5! An unexpected treat, as I was prepared to search for a laundromat. The kitchenette had everything I needed for simple and easy meals. The house is not far from the beach and there is a shopping center close by. The house is close to the I-5 interstate and was very easy to find. The WiFi was great and easy to connect to. I visit this area frequently and felt very fortunate to find Kaza Kokos. I will definitely stay here next time I am in the area!

What a great host and a great location. We liked the area a lot, the casita is very close and in walking distance to a huge varitety of cafes, restaurants and bars. The sunset on the balcony is a beauty.

A great hostel! Lovely atmosphere, great staff, particularly Ryan! Very helpful, and very friendly environment. Great activities organized by the hostel, we had a lovely beach bonfire from Ray.
I definitely recommend this hostel for anyone but especially solo travellers. I met such great people here and would come back in a heartbeat! The place is vibrant, welcoming and right in the middle of the very cool Gaslamp district. It's very clean and any issue with facilities (such as a blocked toilet) was dealt with immediately. They even offer breakfast (though it is simple). Thank you to the great hostel team for an awesome stay!
The really good hostel, staff explained everything and showed us the room and bed. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, it was an open kitchen, bathroom with shower and everything that you need. Of course, it is a hostel with a big common room divided into smaller spaces by a wall and curtains which is more than I expected. I recommend it at all.
Ricky is a great host, he was very helpful and friendly and left the house wonderfully set out for us. It's a nice quiet neighbourhood with a very comfortable outdoor garden.
We loved the comfortable bed and views from our garden suite setup. All the staff was super helpful. food at the Barefoot grill was delish!
The staff is amazing!! So welcoming and had patient to answer all of my questions, they were so helpful, thank you so much! Also, I felt really safe as a woman travel alone. It feels like they care, there are quiet hours, there are separated bathrooms and keys for the dorms room so nobody except of your roommates can get in. You can lock the bathroom too. The kitchen is great too and the general atmosphere is wonderful, Wifi is working, great hostel!!!!!
