With free WiFi, this homestay provides a flat-screen TV, a washing machine and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and oven. Guests can take in the views of the mountain from the patio, which also has outdoor furniture. There is also a seating area and a fireplace. The hosts Lina and Rui are the most warm and accommodating people, it felt like we stayed with family. The views from the dining room every morning watching to see if we could spot some dolphins while we ate breakfast was one of a kind. The location was great as we were 3 minutes from the airport but we didn't have to drive down a mountain to get to the house. We loved sitting by the pool, either in the sun or under the pool house roof. Lina makes sure everything is spotless each day. This was such an enjoyable stay!

Set in Velas, Casa dos Rui´s offers accommodation with seating area. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Rui's home is located at the end of the village in the most peaceful area with a stunning view. Yet it's close to everything. We had an amazing time here. Rui is the most amazing host I've ever meet. He is helpful, thoughtful and always available to help with anything that can come up. Rui helped us to plan our stay on the island, gave us ideas what to visit and welcomed us like we were family. Rui's place is not just another nice accomodation on the island, it's a home away from home. And I would recommend anyone who wants to have a real Sao Jorge experience to stay with Rui. We will definitely return.

Amazing view of the ocean and cliffs. Tables scattered throughout the property for a secluded breakfast surrounded by cool plants a flowers. Staff was soooo awesome. They heard we were leaving early and would miss breakfast and they packed us lunch baggies to eat in the road. Amazing place I hope to come back

Perched on the mountains of São Jorge Island, Cantinho offers a furnished terrace with an infinity pool and a hot tub. It offers luxurious, air-conditioned apartments with a private patio.
The colourful apartments include a fully equipped kitchenette and a dining area. Each has a separate seating area with a flat-screen TV. Some have floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the islands of Pico and Faial.
The suite has 2 decent sized bedrooms with king beds (2 twins together), which were very comfortable. One bedroom had a 3 piece ensuite bathroom and the other 3 piece bathroom was just down the hall from the 2nd bedroom. The kitchen had great appliances, including a washer and clothing steamer. We really enjoyed the patio area with inside views of the courtyard. It was a great location where we could easily walk to the gardens, harbour and shopping area.

It was really one of the nicest stays. The view and the location of the bungalows is so beautiful. Minimarket, black sand beach, natural pools and nice restaurants are nearby. But most of all - Filipe is such a great host. He really helped us with everything and we could always contact him with everything kind of issues. So we even decided to prolong our stay and came back a second time. Thank you for everything and we will surely come back.
I loved the peaceful location in the middle of the hiking trail. Far away from everything, just mountains, waves and the lagoon. It feels like an authentic place, not something made for tourists. Lovely hosts and a beautiful house.
Amazing, new Apartment with everything you need for a few nights. Looks just like in the pictures. We stayed here for three days to discover Sao Jorge Island and it was just perfect. Joselina is a great host and helped us with infos and suggestions on what to do.
Leticia was a great host, she was really open to answer all our questions and doubts. You have a complete apartment for yourself, tons of space. The breakfast was the best during our roundtrip through Azores. There was variety of fruits, eggs and also cheese. Direct in the same location, there is a good restaurant, from which you can enjoy a great view of Pico.
Filipe was such a great host! He really made our Trip to Sao Jorge special, not only did tell us all about what to do on the island and where to but also was such an attentive host. The bungalo located centrally on the island which makes it a great place for exploring the island, however one should book a car for that. The bungalow even had a washing machine with a perfect view of mount pico and at night one could hear the sound of the azorean birds / wildlife.

Victor was an absolutely great host! He gave us some recommendations about things to do that were quite useful, and helped us to have a great stay on the island. The place itself was great as well, nice room, with everything you need. Good shared kitchen, and 'ice view outside on the terrace.
