Musiña Lodge

Amantani

Situated in Amantani in the Amantaní Island region, Musiña Lodge has a garden. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also has a restaurant and a sun terrace. Staff on-site can arrange airport transfers. Authentic, unique homestay experience. Shower is topped up by Ernesto with water from the spring, warmed by the sun. Immaculate toilets with chamber pots for emergencies! Immerse yourself in Amantani life. Diego was on hand as a tour guide, and with heaps of knowledge, he showed us Amantani. Ilda, his sister, and mum Juana delivered amazing local food, dish after dish of local food. With comfy beds topped with llama blankets, we had an exceptional stay. From sharing English phrases for Quechua with Ernesto to drinking local tea, watching the sunsets, to hiking the local trails, I can not recommend enough.

Richar’s home - experience Amantani with my family

Amantani

Featuring lake views, Richar’s home - experience Amantani with my family in Amantani features accommodation and a garden. Boasting luggage storage space, this property also has a restaurant and an outdoor fireplace. The homestay has family rooms. We have been welcomed by the wonderful host Lucrecia (Richar’s wife) alongside with her daughter. The rooms are really nice and clean and the view is just incredible. For lunch dinner and breakfast Lucrecia cooks delicious and healthy meals that we loved. Spending some time there has been truly relaxing and one to one with nature and local culture! Thank you to the family, highly recommended for a unique experience. Note on how to arrive: Easily grab a local bus “collectivo” from Puno to Capachica and then take a local boat from Chifforn Port to Amantaní. Then either you walk 1+ hours or take a ride with the motorbike that are available at the port waiting (very cool experience)

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Everything was amazing. If you happen to go to Titicaca, don’t overthink and go to this place. Jose Luis & his wife are amazingly kind. Food is amazing. The room is big, clean & modern. Extremely calm & peaceful. Super walk on the island with amazing views. We have been super lucky and were here during a kind of Carnaval (18th February) and participated to a huge day-party with all the locals. Best memory in Peru.
