We are so glad we chose to stay in La Familia for our short trip to Nasca. From the beginning, owners Luis and Cynthia were extremely proactive in helping us with booking our trip to see the Nasca lines, offered lots of options for additional excursions around Nasca, and also provided us with transport during our stay. The hotel was even better than in the photos, spacious, well-decorated, and spotlessly clean. Our bedroom was a good size and the bed was comfortable, while the bathroom was also spotless and extremely modern. We had a good breakfast at the hotel, and the coffee was excellent.
The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the main square in Nasca, and about 15 minutes from Nasca's main street which has plenty of restaurant options. We felt perfectly safe during our stay and had no issues with the location of the hotel.
I don't know if we'll get to return to Nasca in the future, but if we do, we would absolutely stay at La Familia again. An additional bonus was their extremely cute dog!
Pisco

It's a good hostel with loads of rooms, located in a very convenient spot for tours of the area, with helpful staff. There's some common spaces with chairs and hammocks and 3 friendly cats. WiFi worked well. The room and bed are small, which seems to be the Peru standard, but clean. Hot water in the clean bathroom. You can easily book tours to the islands and the national reserve through the hostel for the same prices as in other parts of town (the tours are not great to be honest, but that's not the hostel's fault).

Great hostel, just by the ocean. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The atmosphare was chill and realxing. Hostel is also organizing activities everyday do so it is easy to socialise with other travelers. I really liked that they are paying a lot of attention to sustsinability - one of the activities they organized was weekly beach cleanup with cocktails - great to participate and contribute to the local community👍
Nascar is a pretty good place and things will be fast paced because it's a tourist hub. So this place works well, like a home stay. A family of locals live here and they are very helpful and accommodating. You can get a good breakfast, the hostess even cooked me up some food I brought at the supermarket.
