The staff were lovely - very helpful and hardworking. It was exceptionally quiet. We were on the ground floor at the back and felt like we had the sunny garden to ourselves. We had a massive room and a big bathroom and even an entrance sitting room. The decor makes you feel like you are staying in a 1920s castle. A characterful place. You had to walk up the hill to the town centre but it was only about 10 minutes & this meant the nights were quiet. Plenty of hot water.

If you would like to discover the area, cycling and fishing are possible in the surroundings and the homestay can arrange a bicycle rental service. Martha is an awesome host, she makes you feel like family and tells you all about her daily life. Her cuisine is so tasty and can accommodate to any diet restriction. The location is great, it was close to some interesting hikes including pre inca sites and natural hot springs. The house has a nice open patio where you can watch the stars at night :)
