The location was great, the staff very friendly, the restaurant at the hostel and the fact that there is also a kitchen for hostel guests, the lounge area with tables and sofas, laundry lines, lockers for personal belongings, comfortable and solid built beds with curtains. Really great hostel with a very relaxed atmosphere.

Lovely hostel to stay. I felt as in a big family. The staff was amazing, especially Pablo helpful and attentive to customer's needs.
Frank is a great host who makes you feel welcome and at home. He will go out of his way to make everyone happy.

Great stay with great hosts. The pool is really nice for the kids.
Villa vento is a great hostel. Not only great people working there, also a big kitchen, a pool and a lot of community places to hang out. If you are looking for a hostel vibe you will definitely find it in villa vento. It’s in the center of Santa Catalina near a supermarket and a fruteria and 15 min walk to Playa Estero and around 4 min to the main beach. I extended my stay there and wish I could have stayed even longer. I will definitely come back, thanks to all the great people which made this place a home for almost 3 weeks.
Great hostel! Very social, friendly, cosy, mature, clean, and the three guys who work or run it are great. Nice location in the village, quiet at night. I felt welcome and relaxed staying here.
