The room and surrounding are superb! Mr Lee is super nice and help us with luggage. He waited for us to arrive to show us the place. The garden is well taken care , my family and I enjoyed the place a lot with the magnificent view of mt kinabalu. The room come with heated floor- this is a very thoughtful design of the room/chalet.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Linda, our guide is a great host and made every effort to ensure we saw as much of the jungle wildlife as possible. She made us feel welcome from the first moment. This was a true jungle experience where it is only accessible by boat.
Zack was an amazing host. Very informative, gave us loads of ideas and information on locals areas and things to do. Great private bathroom, aircon & fan. Free and endless coffee, tea, and filtered water. Fridge and gas cooking facilities in outdoor courtyard. We loved the location. Away from the busy city, nestled in a very friendly suburban area but literally a 5 min walk to boat across the river (2 RMY!) to the hustle and bustle of Kuching centre. Less than 15 RYM Grab from the airport (roughly $5 AUD for 30 min ride!)
I really like the house. Very cosy. I felt like home. The facilities are super nice. Never been to a homestay that provides all utilities in the kitchen. No need to bring your own kitchenware. Also the bathroom is huge.
Homestay for 6 peoples but only have one (1) simple washroom, which is very inconvenient. No provide refrigerator.

The homestay is located in the local village of the Kundasang, a traditional village house but is renovated and converted into a homestay. If you want to experience staying in a village house, this home stay actually quite pleasant to stay in as the beds and the toilets actually are pretty clean with a simple kitchen.
