The nearest airport is Tijuana International Airport, 16 km from Recámara frente al mar, cama King, tv, wifi. I would normally never stay in a apartment with a rented room but Carlos is very hospitable, he speaks English and goes out of his way to make you feel welcomed and comfortable. The guest room has their own toilet/shower. Wi-Fi worked fast and if you asked the host for anything (reasonable request) he would probably go out of his way to accommodate you. The host is very familiar with the area and services around the area. This is one minute to a OXXO (like a small convenient store) and two minutes from a very good Coffee shop (Aquamarino Cafe) also with an excellent view of the beach.

Guest House Nativo - Charming, Cozy & Affordable is situated in Valle de Guadalupe and offers a garden, a terrace and a bar. The property has garden views. There is a restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine, and free private parking is available. What I liked was that the place was clean and they had made the sofa bed for our children. It is small but has everything you need for your stay.

Very small bathroom but it is privet and they do supply towel and toilet paper. Your in the suburbs so if you plan to walk get ready for some steep hills. Very safe area. Atleast I felt safe. If you are looking for a 3 star hotel like a motel 6 or the such keep looking. But if you just need a place to sleep and on a major budget this is it
