Great steak pie for evenng meal, lots of choice on the menu and the BB&EM rate was brill. The windmill up the road is the home of Monuts and is featured on Welsh TV (thanks to Will for the directions). There is a handy local shop over the road, would be very happy to stay here again.
Lovely host, nice welcome. Bar meals were good, and a nice atmosphere in the bar - obviously a watering hole for locals as well as visitors.

Plas Esgair is a delightful "private home" to stay. You are welcomed in a charming place by Martin, who - while you stay there - is going out of his way to help you. He is a very good chef (the fish dish is excellent), and has many helpful tips for great tours. We loved staying at Plas Esgair, and will certainly go there again.
Everything! Sarah is a great host. You asked for something that you need and she will definitely do her best to grant your request. The room is spacious, clean and has comfy beds. The breakfast is delicious and fresh. Thursday curry night is also additional plus points. My Husband enjoyed the welsh lager and welsh beer and made/ feel welcome by the locals.
