I enjoyed the stay in the guesthouse, the room was very comfy and spacious. And Castleton is a beautiful village to explore the Peak District.

Very comfortable, large rooms recently decorated. Excellent food. Real ale. Well run pub used by locals as well as visitors. Excellent walking paths from front door. Fair price for the locality.
Lovely host! We really enjoyed our night away and very lucky with the hot weather. The hot tub was amazing! Super comfy bed. Thank you for the complementary gifts.. Very peaceful and secluded. We'll definitely be back.
The Bobbin cottage is a beautifully restored cow shed and is delightful. We arrived to a smiling man holding a bottle of prosecco for us. Andy is a great host and the cottage has everything you need and more. It is on a busy road which can be a bit noisy but the upside is that you can be in Matlock in 10 mins. We ate at The Kelsidge up the road which was very good. We will definitely book the cottage again.
Mark is a great host, he cooked a lovely breakfast and other meals. He works so hard to make The Lantern Pike an attractive pub for locals a visitors and is so friendly.
