The hostess and host were friendly, helpful and gracious. The breakfast we perfectly prepared and served in a bright comfortable room.

The property is non-smoking and is set 9.2 km from Newburgh on Ythan Golf Club. Nice and quiet location with really comfortable bed and chairs. The bathroom was also really nice. There was breakfast in the fridge with a nice table set up in the room with berries, yogurth, tea, cheese, etc a and a toaster.

Mary who runs it is the nicest and kindest hostess you will ever find. Quite simply it merits every superlative in the book.

Firhurst has a wood burning stove and patio area It was a pity we only had one night to spend there cause it was a very lovely and cosy accomodation. Highly recommend it.

There is a private walled garden that has become a safe haven for colony of colourful Goldfinches. The ease of check in, room size, amenities and snacks were amazing. There were a ton of choices for breakfast in a lively little seaside town. A few neat attractions around as well!
