She welcomed us warmly, giving us nice advices about what we could do around and where to go eat near. The duplex suite is very nice and big, with a little private outdoor area where she served us an amazing breakfast in the morning (salty or sweet, all made by her). The jacuzzi and the pool are a treat for those like us, who are looking for a time to relax. The bedroom is very comfortable and the bathtub in the room perfect (hot water amazing). Towels are provided and are good quality. Little kitchen perfect for little cooking and a fridge/freezer perfect to keep some drinks cold. We sure keep this place in mind for the next time.

We booked this as an overnight stay en route to a family reunion in South France, but wished we could have stayed longer as it is an idyllic setting with a charming and welcoming host. I am sure there are a lot of beautiful hikes to be found in the surroundings as well. Also breakfast is perfect, served in a cosy and welcoming room by an ever smiling hostess.

Very friendly, dedicated and helpful host. Great French breakfast with homemade jam, yogurt and every morning another extra nice surprise!!! Beautiful house. We were at Lyon during a period of extremely hot weather (the Canicule), the host did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Busstop just outside the gate. The metro at 13 minutes walk.

Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. By far it was one of the best places I ever stayed in during my trips. The location was quiet, far from the city noise. The house was clean, we had everything we need. The beds were comfortable, the room was cozy and warm. Amazing breakfast and the host paid a lot of attention to the dining and to our needs. She gave us also recommendations of restaurants, routes, stores and what to visit. She was available even when we called late at night. Our trip was during end of November- start of December and it was great. If you go there in the summer, the pool will be ready for you. It was worthy ! We loved it.

We went to some nearby vineyards for tastings. The rooms are lovely with everything you need. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We had dinner at the property one evening and it was delicious. They served us a beautiful salad, dumpling ragout & an incredible cheese board. Spending time with their beautiful dogs topped off the stay for us! NB. Not all vineyards open when they say. Chateau de Pizay is worth a visit, it does a self guided wine tasting for €10 - it is a beautiful property & you get to keep the wine glass
