It is located in Ancient City of Pingyao, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. For a very low price I've got a room only for myself. They gave me not only towel for free but also shower gel, shampoo, toothpaste and even toothbrush. Owners speak English communicatively and they are very helpful.

Located in Pingyao Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Lao Cheng Gen Hostel is a 10-minute walk from Xianya, the former county government. It offers free bicycle rentals and free shuttle services to Pingyao Railway Station, a 5-minute drive away. All rooms come with traditional Chinese Kang bed. Really typical location, I loved the vibes and the host was really a good man. Wish I could stay longer (not for the town per se, but for the accommodation)

Great experience in pingyao.

It already looked pretty from the photos on the website, but it was somehow even more amazing in real life! The room was also very nice, and the location was great.

Datong Yunzhong Traditional Courtyard is located in Datong Ancient Town, a 5-minute walk from Huayan temple and Nine Dragon Wall. It is a quadrangle courtyard Inn with traditional decoration. Free Wi-Fi access is available. I fell in love with this hotel. It has a gentle, old-world charm that makes you feel like you're in a classic movie. The bedrooms are exquisitely furnished, the courtyards are beautiful and despite the attractions of Datong I spent hours just sitting in the courtyards enjoying the atmosphere. The location is perfectly central in this interesting city where there's much to see. The breakfast is without doubt the most eclectic I've ever been served, but there was much to enjoy. So many small welcoming touches. I was so sad to leave!
