Breakfast and dinner has been prepared freshly with traditional style. Atmosphere is super relaxed, the hosts are very friendly and make you feel welcome and provide support for anything you want. The central room in the pension is connected with an open kitchen where you get served breakfast or dinner (if you agreed to order it) or where you can enjoy to take your own food. During the evening several friends in the neighborhood and several guests enjoyed the evening in the garden served with beer, Palinka or other drinks. We enjoyed a lot our stay at Pension Salas and recommend it warmly to everybody.

The location is absolutely wonderful. We had to privilege to enjoy the autumn colors in a silent and relaxing place. We had the triple room which was just perfect. The ladies taking care of the property (Gabi and Margit) went out of their way to make us feel spoiled. They also recommended us places to visit nearby which really helped as we didn’t make any clear plans beforehand. We plan to come back in summertime and also enjoy some of the bike tracks

The Host - Manuela, her husband and two beautiful kids - were amazingly kind to us! We were super happy to have stayed here. They were welcoming and caring. They helped wherever they could. They brought us fresh home made cheese, and fresh milk ❤️ The apartment is perfect for 1-2 couples. Since it was only me and my boyfriend, we could choose between 2 big rooms which both were equipped with comfy double beds, bedside tables, wardrobe and TV. In the kitchen they had everything (coffee machine, cooking ware etc), and the bathroom was big and clean. We couldn't wish for more! Thank you Rusu family! 🥰

It's a nice and clean place with welcoming and discreet hosts. It's quiet, with comfy bed and good facilities. It's in the Valley of Dinosaurs :), close to the valley where Rausori is located - where we climbed the magnificent Retezat peak from. The road is asphalted and in fairly good shape all the way. The trip was surprisingly fast from our city - Cluj, it took a little more than 2 hours (almost all the way on highway). We'll definitely return.

Everything. It is placed in a very nice and quiet location, close to many attractions and the Retezat National Park. It is perfectly clean. The Owner and the staff are very nice and always available to help.

Accommodation was spotlessly clean. Kitchen is fully equipped. Nice quiet place for day trips in Retezat. The host does not speak English but had a translation app ready, which was sufficient. All in all would fully recommend.

Very nice and clean house with downstairs dining room, kitchen and bathroom, two upstairs bedrooms, each with separate bathrooms, and large balcony. Beautiful, spacious outdoor pergola, with cooking, grilling and dining facilities. Close to Retezat mountains, in a small, quiet village. The landlady is very kind and helpful.
