This is a small family run operation and it earns a top ranking from me because they do what they do very well. It's not at all fancy and the accomodations are very simple, but extremely clean. There is a restaurant a two minute walk away that serves delicious traditional food in huge portions at a very reasonable price. This place is out of the way and was just perfect for our needs - a clean, comfortable place to bed down for the night. Hugo, the owner, was very nice.

The apartment was perfect for a short stay. A lovely old building, traditional on the outside and modern inside. A large, comfortable bed, nice furnishings, a modern bathroom.and a comfortable sitting area with T.V. There is a fridge to keep items cold. The apartment also has access to a beautiful small farm with a swimming pool, relaxing areas including sun beds, chairs, and dining areas. There is also a communal kitchen and complimentary tea and coffee. The feeling of calm and privacy is a real bonus.

We had such a lovely night here. Super comfy bed, beautiful light room and the breakfast was just fab. The pineapple with lime zest, yumm! And in the background some cape verdian music to get us in holiday mood even more. The owners are just lovely and the location unique (a train station). From here you can take the train to porto, lisbon, aveiro, ... Or just take a 20 minute stroll to the beach. Next time we'll defnitely stay longer. Thanks Mariana and Andrée.
