The location was great, just a few minutes walk to the beach and then you could walk down the beach for a bit to the shops and cafes. Loved the heated bathroom floor and the water pressure in the shower was amazing

Lynn and David are incredible! Our stay was fantastic and allowed us to have our own private area to hold as a base as we explored the area. I unfortunately came down with a very bad headache on day one and Lynn and David were so kind to help us sort out dinner and get me back on my feet for the next day! They gave amazing recommendations and their dog, Rocky, was also such a treat!
Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
This was our 2nd time staying at the lodge. Neville and Kerrie are great hosts. The lodge is neat, tidy. The refreshments in the mini kitchen are layed out thoughtfully.
Owners have made some very good changes to improve rooms and grounds.
Car park is not in front of rooms so it’s much more appealing. KB is a great host and the gardens are well set up and relaxing.
A fabulous stay in a lovely destination. Des was a great host and even left snacks and drinks complementary for us to enjoy which was a lovely touch.
The neighbourhood was quiet and only a few minute walk to shops and eateries, the beach a little further but still within 5-10 minutes from the property. Although Des lives above, we never heard him. Thank you and we will be back in the future.
I came alone to enjoy my me-time and didn't except much as I just wanted to relax. But what I got really exceeded my expectations. Tineke and Ian are lovely hosts. Their place is more that neat, the bed is super comfy. The view from the deck is spectacular and also a short walk uphill for almost 360C view.
In addition, the weather was sunny and I couldn't help staying on the beach more than I planned.
