    Lovely hosts! They let out kids pat their dogs, spent a lot of time chatting to us, and we just very easy to get along with. Huge property with horses nearby, very kid friendly, and bonus from us because our kids slept through the night both nights! Easy walk into featherston town, and easy drive to Martinborough.

    Sundar, the Motel manager was a great host. The Cook Strait Ferry was delayed in its arrival. He gave us a call near our planned arrival time and was very helpful, friendly and flexible. Everything was meticulously clean and well set up. A nice large room and bathroom and comfortable bed

    I was pleasantly surprised that the facilities included a bathtub. This was so relaxing after travelling, and on a cold winter's night, really appreciated that luxury. I loved that I could order a bar meal or glass of wine and take it through to my room if I wanted or chat with the locals in the bar.
