We had 3 unbelievable days with Bischnu, Kalpana and their two sons. The whole village is heartwarming and neighbours are so kind and welcoming. We were lucky to have our stay during Dashain and the family took us with them as family members, explained every tradition and even provided with traditional celebration clothing for the 10th day of Dashain. A true highlight for our kids!
Besides this the food is amazing and we could help out by the preparations. Bischnu also explained the core principles of permaculture, which they use for the farmhouse. It was very interesting and inspiring. Cherry on the top: our kids could milk the cow in the morning and we could fly kites from the rooftop of the farmhouse! AND the views are breathtaking: the rice fields on one side, the mountain range on the other when they dare to sh es
ow themselves.

Sila is a wonderful host, alongside being at the initiative of this beautiful community project of families hosting houses, managed by the women. Thanks to that project, you get to stay in local houses for such a fair price, good hygiene and comfort, fresh and local food, all that while sustaining the community economy! Love it!!
And for anything, you can ask Sila, who will totally make her best to help you in whatever you need and within her possibilities (we arrived as a 11 people group, at last minute after a change of plans and she managed lodging, transports, local guide, restaurant booking -as it was a festival time- all within a couple of hours!!). Huge thanks to Sila.
Totally recommended

Definately will go back next time we are in nepal. The family was really nice and welcoming my daughter played with their daughter sometimes. It is in a perfect location, for example if you ride the local bus for a little bit then you will end up in the city of nagarkot to do the panoramic hiking trail. Just a short walk from the home stay is the suspension bridge and if you walk just a little longer you will find a beautiful waterfall. One last thing, this is only an opinion, but they had a dog that my daughter really loved.

Beautiful and clean homestay. Great view of Namabuddha monastery. The host family was incredible helpful and kind, their food was amazing. We are in Kathmandu now wishing that we stayed longer
I had a pleasant stay in Namobuddha Hotel n Lodge. The accommodation offers an amazing few to impressive hills and beautiful nature. It is situated close to the monastery and other places of interest. Palden and his wife are very lovely hosts. They try to improve and take good care of their costumers. Delicious food is served. Rooms are basic and clean. Bathroom is shared.
I appreciated very much talking with Palden; he was a buddhist monk before and is really very knowledgeable and kind.
An absolute must stay, (more than 1 night!). Whether you visit the Namobuddha Monastery, hike the trails, sit street level or on the rooftop taking in the sights and sounds (which you could do for days), Namaste Homestay is THE spot! Prem and his kind family will make sure you are well fed and looked after.
We had a fantastic time in Namaste Homestay and we wished we could have stayed longer. Ian, Prem and his family were very welcoming. We had a very comfortable stay and we enjoyed the food so much! (the chicken curry, the Bimire breakfast and the freshly homemade limonade are delicious :D). The best part of our stay was that we really got an opportunity to hang out with the locals, to play with the kids from the neighborhood and to laugh all together. It is such a lovely memory we keep. We highly recommend this homestay experience!
Great homestay! The owners were very friendly, helpful and engaging. Also, the facilities are great: the bathrooms have western toilets and hot water showers. The freshly cooked food was exceptionally good, and eating on the rooftop terrace, seeing the monastery in the background is a great experience, so make sure to eat as many meals as possible at this homestay!
Prem is a great host, so nice and attentive always making sure you have everything you need. The amazing views from the room can’t be beaten. Breakfast was delicious.
