Very cozy place! Two comfortable bedrooms, terrace and wonderful breakfast! Very fast track from airport, 25-30 minutes to city center. We've been with two children - absolutely enough space for them. They did like the appartment also and terrace especially :) The district itself is very quiet, green and beautiful. The neighborhood was excellent, sited right near quiet canals. It was a great place for an evening walk. Tram and metro connections were very close, and there were lots of bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. In summary, it was a quiet, residential refuge right beside a vibrant urban concentration providing all the services.

Location was excellent - in heart of Amsterdam.
Shared bathroom was clean and well equipped though shower could of done with more pressure.
At one point ran out of toilet roll but resolved very quickly once word sent to proprietor.
Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Frans is a great host so talkative and friendly. He gave us great tips about how to go to the city, where to park etc. Even the location seems a bit far away from Amsterdam city center, traveling to the city is very convenient and fast if you have a car.
We stayed with our little dog without any problems or paying additional fee.
