The view from the accommodation is amazing. Directly to the volcano and the mountains and the lake. The Bungalows are closed and very nice and cozy. We would definitely come again. You can walk to the lava field :)

Singapore
We stayed 2 nights here (and highly recommend you to do so if you have time) i.e. one night for recharging and hot spring nearby, the other night for Batur trekking. It’s definitely an amazing experience! Far from city life, the view from the hotel and its restaurant is spectacular. The room is not fancy but clean, comfortable and have all essentials for you to have a very good rest. Staff are friendly and helpful. We booked the trekking from the hotel and they organised very well. Predek is our guide and he did a great job. One of the things I noticed was he prepared a blanket to cover the bench for us when we reached summit whilst the rest of climbers sit on the cold and wet bench to wait for sunrise.
