- Location- absolute beach front. TIP 2 minute walk to Galanga (great restaurant), 15 minute walk to Blue Earth Village (restaurant, yoga), 5 minute walk to Adi shop (cheese, wine, fresh sourdough baked daily)
- Beach - snorkelling in front of hotel, I saw turtles, beautiful corals, fish, sand eels. Safe for swimming. TIP Can rent snorkel gear from kind family next to hotel on beach
- DIVE DIVERSITY (best dive centre in Amed) 5 minute walk from hotel
- Staff- so kind, always smiles, always welcome home by your name

- Restaurant on site for cocktails and food, last order 930pm for dinner which is great after a night dive to have hot Indonesian soup.
- Deluxe room, good size, has wardrobe to hang clothes and desk. Comfortable bed and lovely plush pillows x4!!!
- Daily room clean, made bed up every day, replaced toilet paper and gave me fresh towels during my stay with no need to ask
- Very safe area, I did not need to lock my room, but there is even security also on site after 10pm.
- INCREDIBLE value for money for a beach front location with a pool
- Gorgeous pool surrounded by lush gardens and small hotel temples, it is up to 2.5 metres deep and you can see the ocean when you are in it and it remains a good temperature (doesnt get too heated across day so is always nice to swim)- I mainly swam in the sea though.
- Large bathroom, toiletries provided- shampoo, body wash and toilet paper. 2 bath towels and 2 pool towels. Note the shower/bath are dated and iit can take some time to find the right temperature of the water/not strong pressure but absolutely fine given the price and location/services on site here.
This is truly the best, I extended my stay to 8 nights and it was incredible. Thank you to the entire team working here, it is great to stay at a local run Balinese hotel. You are the best!

This is a very quiet and private property, away from the road and right on the sea. The sunrises are well worth getting up for! The restaurant leading onto the pool area is super inviting with a killer view (just ask Brandon, the resident pooch). The staff (special shout out to Bary, Jesika, Seri, & night Mike) here are wonderful and made our stay feel very special. Some great touches - water is supplied from an on-site 60m well so we could drink the tap water. We were able to snorkel right off the back of the property at high tide. You could loll about in the pool all day it is so warm. At breakfast we were always offered more juice/fruit/coffee/food and we usually received a whole loaf of bread to ourselves (and assured our leftovers were not wasted). The owner Derk was onsite during our visit and he makes a point of personally greeting all his guests. The restaurant serves good food if you don’t feel like going further afield, but there are also plenty of warungs within walking distance. The villa was a great place to come home to every day.

location on the beach was beautiful, the owner was superkind, the room and bathroom were very clean. We got the room on the first floor which gives a nice view on the sea and the mountains. We also got a freshly made breakfast, twice warm water for coffee or tea and fried bananas or pancakes at 16:00, and that all included in the price. This is the attention to detail which makes all the difference. You can Snorkel in front of the hotel and there is an outside shower to rinse of the seawater. There are towels for washing and for swiming. I could easily stay there for a few weeks , I will surely come back !

This property was right at the beach and on top of that you had seaview also from the room. The staff was really hospitable and friendly we felt really at home there. They made grilled fish for us one evening and we did the coral boat tour with them and that was amazing. You can rent diving masks from them and they provide delicious breakfest. Very lovely host family. They care really well for their guests and do their best. I had the best breakfast. The room was simple but very clean and even had a small refrigerator.
The very best about this homestay is Sony. From the beginning he was such a great host. He is friendly, helpful and took his time to show me beautiful snorkeling spots around Amed and invited me to a ceremony at his temple for full moon. I won’t forget that. My room had a very nice terrace. The bed was comfortable. Overall I had a great time there. Thank you Sony! All the best!
I was recommended to come to Tanaya and I'm so please I did! The location is the perfect spot in amed, close to some yummy restaurants and shops, with a view of Mt Agung and the rice fields. The rooftop is fantastic for yoga or taking photos. We found the rooms very spacious, clean and best of all quiet.

Fab property. Good wifi speed, decent breakfast & clean room. The room was super affordable and literally the homestay is on the beach where we saw dolphins whilst having breakfast! Highly recommend, Wayan was super friendly and helpful when needed but otherwise we were left to enjoy beautiful Amed. It's located down a side alley which is tricky to locate at first but all the locals will help if you ask. Bed was so comfy and great AC! We'd definitely stay again!
