We loved it here, extended one night extra as the bed was so comfy. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Special shout out to Marcus who despite neither of us speaking each others language, he would make us chuckle! Soo good to have free breakfast and coffee for the price of the room

Basic hostel in Flores. We went there for one night in between two travel days (arrived in the evening - left early in the morning). I think we were the only ones staying at the hostel that night. The room was large and the bathroom was clean. The bed is small (like in most hostels in Guatemala). Our stay in the hostel was very cheap (30 euro for private room with ensuite bathroom) so the value for money was definitely good.

Kitchen, bathroom both good though basic.Big rooftop area for relaxing in, hanging out laundry, enjoying the view. Not a flash place, but safe, tidy, and quiet.

Ismal and his family are super kind and gentle people, always ready to help and provide informations.
The accomodation is simple but spacious and clean, free amazing coffee, and here you'll have the feeling to be in a real homestay in a real guatemala village to base yourself for Tikal, instead of being in the Flores tourist bubble.
I stayed in the budget part of Bruno's place the price was right for the room, in the main part of the village close to everything, and Bruno's is a good host and very knowledgeable about many thing's.
Beautiful untouched Guatemalan "pueblo" vibe" with so many friendly locals and very accessible options for immersing yourself in nature and doing outdoor activities. Bonus--amazing tacos and beautiful sunset docks/huts. Felt very welcomed and relaxed with family-style dinners and options for fun excursions. Flexible check-in and check-out. Rich saved our trip to the morning tour of Tikal because we had been issued a scam and he was so attentive to any needs of his guests.
We absolutely loved being on the deck by the water, we hung out with Santiago, the owner, a little who was a great host and really nice guy. The trip to Tikal is quite short from there (although we didn’t end up doing it because we loved being on that beautiful deck too much).
The food was great as well!
