As a former church of 120 yrs. converted into a lodge, it had a very interesting interior, and was tastefully decorated (with as much of the original interior architectural features left in place, as possible.). The room was clean and comfortable, and the washroom was large. It was lovely to find a tiny fridge with fresh milk, orange juice and water, as well as having tea and coffee packets near a kettle on the table. Breakfast was a warm, fresh croissant and fruit or toffee yogourt. The location was ideal; just after Steep Hill, and close to the Castle and Cathedral.

Arrived at the Loudor and filled out my cooked breakfast request with what ever I wanted. The room was so quiet and the bed super comfy! Breakfast the next day was amazing! It was such a surprise to be served by a talking robot- loved every minute of it. There were plenty of cereals to eat, the cooked breakfast was excellent quality and the owner Wendy was so friendly. The parking is free and the hotel was super clean and felt just so safe which is important to me as a single traveller.
