Needed a room to myself after a lifetime of hostels before I traveled the islands.
Got a beautiful large room with a double bed and ensuit. Where I stayed theres I think 3 rooms that open into a shared lounge and kitchen. Small bottled water and carton of milk provided on arrival along with tea coffee and papaya during my stay.
Owners were lovely and took me to the supermarket when I arrived as it was during Diwali so they would have been closed the next day. Invited me to a member of staffs house for a meal on Diwali night.

It's a very good room. The owner is very enthusiastic and feels at home. It's very safe and calm to live in. No one will disturb you. You can have a good rest and work. The hygiene is also very clean. The location is very good. You can get a taxi when you go out. There is a good shopping centre next to it. Right we didnt stay there because you people couldnt find any thing about our booking, The place is incorrectly placed it is not airport rooms its miles from the airport,we arrived there and there were 6 workmen working around the entrance to the building there were no pathways to walk on only sand, the woman i talked to couldnt speak much english,so she called somebody on the phone who couldnt speak any english also thats when i told the woman on the phone to stick her accommodation up her arse,
Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
The staff and locals are always amazing in Fiji and it definitely was exactly that in the Hilton! I’m gonna miss everything and everyone there! Thank you for the stay!
There were lots of staff for buffet breakfast but nobody offered tea or coffee. we had to go and ask them for tea and coffee than it was served on table and coffee was like tea . staff were just doing their job . No smile or greetings etc. Maybe we looked like locals from Fiji.
we were upgraded to a garden suite which was FABULOUS! but equally the pool, restaurants and common areas were really beautiful and well cared for. the location was great. sheltered but perfect for sunsets, close enough to any excursions
