As we booked the Comfort Junior Suite, it was just great! the suite it selfs, the panorama view over Ascona, the silence on the large balcony etc.

Very unfriendly staff apart from the bell boy. They even hang up the phone in you when you call for information. They do not listen when you request something. The walls of the rooms are paper thin and you can hear the people in the room next door and in the hallway. Then you can hear the blaring music for another location a few block away. The hallway smells revolting.

Beautifully decorated and clean place to stay with a great host. It was in the centre of town but amazingly quite. We had two rooms and shared a bathroom which worked out very well.
A frequent bus ride from Locarno station and 5 minutes walk from lake promenad, yet in a pretty quiet streat. Room was simple, clean and comfortable, breakfast was superb. The place has a restaurant owened by the same owners with absolutly fantastic food and decent pricing. Lots of locals there, and this is of course the best reccomendation.... It looks like both hotel and testaurant are run with love! Hope to stay there again.
