I loved it all. Period. Joao who manages the hotel may only be in his late 20s but his warmth, thoughtfulness, friendliness and the whole team's focus on giving you a special experience and time is evident from the moment you arrive. Sometimes you stay at a hotel where you may be greeted with professionalism. On a few occasions you move beyond that and create a true human and sincere connection. Joao is dedicated to making your stay truly and positively memorable and was so helpful in each and every way possible. So - long story short. My stay at Martina and Luis was absolutely wonderful. They are such amazing, warmhearted and welcoming people, you will feel at home straight away.
The accommodation is very nice, clean and spacious. And the wifi is very good, if you're working online.
As a kite surfer, this is the perfect place as it is located within walking distance to the beach. A lovely beach, which is much more quiet than the main kite beach in Cumbuco and gives you all the space to practice!
Every time I would travel to other places (Rio, Jericoacoara, Taiba…), afterwards I would return again to Casa Martina and be welcomed with open arms. I would for sure recommend staying at this place if you want to enjoy a great kite trip in Cumbuco with lovely hosts who are always open for an interesting conversation about life. 😉 I will be back!!!
