Good location along the Iseltrail, very near to 3 big supermarket trails. Friendly staff (thanks Conny!) who went out of her way to give us our preferred room and check-in time, and also to pass me the guest card for free use of buses. Beds were comfortable and rooms clean. The balcony had a little folding table and chairs, plus clothes drying rack and a decent view of the city and the mountains.

This is not a 5star hotel in the city, so don't expect that kind of luxury. Luxury here comes from the incredible location, spectacular view and the character of an old traditional house. Konrad and his wonderful wife took such good care of us, our food allergies were all very carefully taken into account and the food was absolutely delicious! This kind of heart-warming hospitality is very rare.

Neighborhood was calm and quiet. We loved the animals around the house. The hostess is a lovely lady and always available for assistance.

- The hosts were friendly and very helpful with the info we needed before our arrival. - The house is easy to reach with GPS. The area is quiet so we got a good night's sleep after busy sightseeing days. - Our apartment was on the ground floor and had a terrace and a gorgeous view of the mountains. - The kitchen is well equipped for a short stay. - There is a Spar 3min away by car, so you can easily stock up. - Our apartment was very spacious, including the bathroom, and also featured a sauna (you need to pay extra for the sauna, 15 EUR). - There are 2 or 3 parking spaces for free. - They sort the garbage (plastic, bottles, organic, other), which I appreciated. - The beds are reasonably comfortable and personally I really liked the fact that the pillows weren't bulky, so I could actually sleep on them without waking up with a bad neck.

It was a very family like feeling entering the house. You felt welcomed at the very first second you came in. I’ve been invited to the family’s living room and met almost all members and a couple of minutes later I’ve made some trampoline jumping with the auntie and the two daughters. The breakfast was incredibly good, more than you could eat have been offered.

Gästehaus Obwexer is located in a nice small town in the Austrian Tirol. The room we got was fantastic....it was actually a studio, with a complete kitchen and a small living room separated from the bedroom and bathroom. Excellent wifi. The breakfast was served in the restaurant crossing the street and was really very good, with excellent quality products. The place has a free parking slot by its side. I recommend it enthusiastically.

Room was very clean, equipped with a great balcony. Useful kitchen appliances. Very friendly host. Enough parking space. Location of the house is central yet quiet, 4 minutes to the ski lift by car. Would come again should we visit Matrei again

Als Zwischenstopp nach Italien genutzt. Mitten in den Bergen, bombastische Aussicht. Mitarbeiter ehrlich freundlich. Essen regional und sehr lecker. Wir waren begeistert.
