The place is adorable! Maria the owner gave us a warm welcome, set with us to explain every thing about the city and made us feel at home! the place is beautiful with a spectacular view over the city and fortress! the location is great close to the center and the fortress. the breakfast was good and we enjoyed it looking at the city :) The room was a part of a shared apartment and we had our private bathroom and shower, but you feel like you're visiting a family so you don't mind that it's shared :) Very important - it's a bit difficult to get there with GPS, I would recommend to get close to the place (about 300m) and than look at the place on Google Maps and try to get to the point just from looking at the map and not using the navigation, because it'll take you through small and slippery roads. Overall we had a great time over there! Thank you Maria!

Breathtaking views. A bit of challenging location, but that is all of Gjirokaster. Very welcoming hosts, delicious breakfast, great communication. The city is a 15 minute hike away, but we preferred it as it was a quiet place with gorgeous views.

We absolutely loved our stay at Mani Guest House! The room was clean and comfortable. The location was great as it was a short walk to the castle and bazaar. The food was incredible - we had a traditional breakfast each morning, you could tell that a lot of effort was put into it. We also had dinner here on our last night and it was fantastic. Not only was it way better than both the places we ate at in the bazaar but it was also reasonably priced. They can cook all vegetarian meals as well. The outdoor space was really nice to have - we had breakfast in the garden each morning and spent the evening on the rooftop terrace. So relaxing and such a fantastic view. The best part of this entire place is the lovely family that puts their heart into caring for their guests. I stayed with lots of my own family during this trip to Albania and I felt as comfortable here as I did with any of my family. We will definitely be returning next time we're in town!
