Breakfast was really good. We didn't really know what to expect....and had assumed it would be a pretty basic breakfast. However, the choice and quality was excellent Everything else about the hotel was also really good. Pleasant staff, warm and comfortable room and a great shower. What more can you ask!

Easily visit the Portland Museum of Art and the Children's Museum of Maine located within 250 metres of Portland-By the Bay Holiday Inn. Charming shops and restaurants are also within walking distance. The Staff were very attentive, friendly and professional. Location was excellent, within walking distance to points of interest. We parked in the underground garage for our stay and walked everywhere. The restaurant offered a nice variety from the menu. The breakfast buffet was very appealing and the menu offered a nice selection. We recommend "The Real Portland Tour" which is also within walking distance for a bit of history and lighthouses.

Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Freeport provides rooms with free Wi-Fi, desks and seating areas. Each room also includes a coffee maker and hairdryer. The suites feature sofa beds, microwaves and refrigerators. We would have loved a breakfast as we are accustomed to at hotels at this price.

The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Waterville - North is located off Interstate 95 in the heart of Maine, just 18 miles from the capital city of Augusta. The hotel is minutes from Belgrade Lakes, Eaton Mountain ski area, Colby College and Thomas College. The Augusta State Airport is 25 miles from this hotel. Great Breakfast options, convenient location. Very clean room, highly recommended!
