The ease of getting there with car parking facilities and bus stop right outside to take you to city centre
This modern hotel has a quiet location with easy access by bus to the city centre, 3.2 km away. It is 8 km from Edinburgh Airport and offering parking and air-conditioned rooms.
In Edinburgh’s New Town, this Georgian building is just a 5-minute walk from bustling Princes Street and Edinburgh Rail Station.

Breakfast was fine in quality, variety and quantity; however, the place was very crowded and probably too small for the numbers present. The bed was comfortable, the internet connection stable and fast. The location is central and well served.
This modern hotel is next to the Ocean Terminal shopping centre and the Royal Yacht Britannia. It has paid onsite parking, air-conditioned rooms and regular buses to the city centre stop outside.

Breakfast was plentiful, however the advertised warm eggs etc were mildly warm.
It’s was spotlessly clean . The food was brilliant . The staff were excellent well mannered and courteous. First time I’ve stopped at holiday inn but certainly won’t be my last ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
First class hotel in every respect and great to see at least some hotels are back to full working practices after Covid. To every other hotel out there who is still using tired old excuses for laziness take a look at the Holiday Inn Express Dunfermline for what you should be doing
Typical Holiday Inn from our experience. Very clean with spacious room. Breakfast was excellent and staff very helpful. Easy access to motorway to continue your journey.
Inadvertently, I had not reserved an accessible room, so our first night was difficult. When I spoke to the manager about this (Charlie) he and his team were exceptionally helpful, and ensured we were moved to a room which had disabled facilities.
This is the second time we have stayed at Holiday Inn Express in Dunfermline, and both times we have been very happy. We will continue to use the hotel whenever we visit Edinburgh.
• The bathrooms of the hotel are very good indeed. In fact, what attracted me to this Holiday Inn Express over other competing hotels (Premier Inn, Travelodge, other local hotels such as the City Hotel) was the shower handset, rather than just a simple, fixed ceiling/wall mounted ‘prison’ shower head.
• Ample parking.
• Big TV.
When you go to a Holiday Inn you know what to expect and no surprises so far :)
