Stayed here numerous times and it never fails. Room was spotlessly clean. Comfortable and quiet. Maltesers a nice gesture and two chocolates on the bed. Refreshment tray with tea/ coffee. Lovely spotlessly clean shower over the bath. Nice view across to the mountains behind. Although the swimming pool was closed, the hotel ( if you want it) supply a voucher to use at the leisure centre next door . We didn't dine at the hotel so can't comment on food . We were room only .
I loved the location, the beach was just across the street, with a promenade along it with cafes. Next door were a swimming pool and cinema, fantastic! I got a room with sea view, that was just amazing. Double glazing prevented any noise from the street which wasn't too busy anyway. The people who worked at the reception were beyond kind, and the downstairs area with comfortable chairs-suberb.
Very busy ,very friendly family pub.
Lots of people eating, enjoying the entertainment,, everyone seemed to know each other,great family atmosphere.the beer was nicely served.
The house was very spacious and had plenty of in house entertainment (TV & board games)
Beds and lounge rooms were clean and comfy.
House was clean and tidy when we arrived and clean towels provided. The shower in the on-suite was blocked but the host arranged a plumber out the same day. Host was also very helpful and responded to messages promptly.
The staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was a lovely size.
My friend and I were upgraded as I am using a walking stick at the moment...I didn't ask this and we both thought how lovely this was...
We had the entertainment evening, it was a carvery, and I have never witnessed the hard work and efficient way in which all the staff worked together...with a lot of people to serve the way they did this was absolutely excellent...We saw the Bee Gee Tribute, very good...
