The bed was very comfortable, breakfast was very good plenty to eat and a good choice of food. The location was ideal for where we wanted to visit. No problem with parking. Good entertainment on one of the nights we were there.
Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting, with fab beer garden. Easy walking distance to Glennridding and a fab base for beautiful walks. We have been coming to the hotel for years and it is always a pleasure to return. Staff are always welcoming and friendly, rooms are comfortable and clean and the food is excellent. Great entertainment on Saturday evening. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The atmosphere was very welcoming and relaxed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and the restaurant menu was great value for money.

The staff were charming and wonderfully helpful. The view from my bedroom window was picturesque. The en suite included a bath, a luxury these days. The evening meal was excellent, the service first rate and the breakfast was opulent, too. The entertainment- none was expected -was lively, tuneful and good fun.
Food was good and no waiting, plenty of choices, buffet breakfast substantial and choices. Even laid on night entertainment, seemed to be very well run, with staff helpful, friendly and efficient. Tidy uniforms and table setting good. Staff all seemed to be working together and knew how to run the dining room.
The Saturday night entertainment was good, you don't get it at B&B's and the atmosphere was more like a resort with everyone having a good time. The breakfast was a good :)
